A post that could not go out is never dropped silently. It shows a status, Google's own words when Google gave any, what happens next and who needs to act.
Look under Posts on the Needs Attention tab, or for every customer at once under Business -> Publishing on the Needs Attention tab.

When Google does not approve a post
Google reviews posts after they are sent. When it refuses one, the post reads Not approved by Google Business Profile. Google does not tell outside apps why. Its reason is shown next to the post in the Business Profile manager, and the refused copy stays there until you decide.
Posts are most often refused for a phone number, an email address or a link in the text, words inside the photo, an offer without clear terms, a deal on a hotel profile, or wording Google treats as spam or repetition.
Rewrite for Measks the writer for one safer version. It needs approval like any postEdit Myselfopens the post so you can change itDon't Publishremoves the refused copy from Google and keeps your copy and its history, asNot published- Sending a new version first removes the refused copy from Google, then sends the new one, so the profile never holds both
- After a second refusal of the same post,
Edit Myselfis the way forward - If nobody decides, one reminder email goes out after 7 days, and after 14 days the post is closed and the refused copy removed
- If Google reverses its decision and the post goes live, it is marked
Publishedat the next daily check
Autopilot pauses itself
After three posts in a row at a location are not approved by Google, Autopilot pauses there with Paused after several posts in a row were not approved by Google Business Profile. Check the reasons before you resume. The first post that goes live resets the count. Click Resume on Posts -> Autopilot once you have checked the reasons.
Nothing fails silently
- Every failure has a status, a reason and a next step, on the post and in
Needs Attention - A broken connection holds the posts that depend on it. They go out once it is fixed, unless they are more than 24 hours late
- Client emails go to the location's
Noticesaddresses. Problems only you can fix, such as plan options and limits, are shown to you and not emailed to the client - Your daily summary email covers posts waiting for approval, approval emails not sent, changes requested, posts that could not publish, what needs attention, and posts that expired without approval
