Connect EMR to 6,000+ Apps with Zapier

Trigger review requests from any app in the Zapier ecosystem. CRMs, e-commerce platforms, booking systems, form builders. If it connects to Zapier, a Webhooks by Zapier action can post the customer to your EmbedMyReviews endpoint.

No code required. Map the fields visually in EmbedMyReviews and time each request around the appointment or order date.

How It Works

One Zap with a Webhooks by Zapier action. EmbedMyReviews handles the mapping, the timing and the send.

1

Choose your trigger app

Select the app and event that starts the Zap: a CRM deal closed, an order shipped, an appointment ended, a form submitted.

2

Add a Webhooks by Zapier action

Choose the POST event, paste your EmbedMyReviews endpoint URL, set Payload Type to json, add name, email, phone and the appointment or order date as data fields, then run Test.

3

Map fields and choose timing

EmbedMyReviews captures the test payload. Map the fields to contact properties, choose straight away, a delay of up to 7 days from the date, or next morning, and activate.

Webhooks by Zapier needs a paid Zapier plan

Zapier classes Webhooks by Zapier as a premium app, so the POST action is not available on Zapier's free tier. If you would rather not pay for Zapier, the same endpoint works from Make's HTTP module, which is included on Make's free plan, and from Pabbly Connect with the API by Pabbly action.

Example Workflows

Real automations agencies build with EMR + Zapier.

Shopify, HubSpot and Calendly also have native integrations that need no Zap.

PD
EMR

Pipedrive → EMR

When a deal moves to Won, post the person's name, email and phone. EmbedMyReviews sends the request the next morning.

AC
EMR

Acuity Scheduling → EMR

When an appointment is scheduled, post the booking with its end time as the appointment date. The request goes out two hours after the appointment ends.

HP
EMR

Housecall Pro → EMR

When a job is marked completed, post the customer and the completion time. The review request lands 24 hours later.

TF
EMR

Typeform → EMR

A checkout or intake form submission posts the respondent's details. Send straight away, or set a delay in EmbedMyReviews.

BYOK

Your providers. Wholesale rates.

The Zapier connection is included at no extra cost. SMS and email are sent through your own Twilio and SMTP providers at your negotiated rates, with zero EMR markup.

Typical cost: $0.01 per SMS, $0.001 per email. A paid Zapier plan for Webhooks by Zapier is billed by Zapier separately.

Common questions

Is there an EmbedMyReviews app in the Zapier directory?

Not for sending customers in. You use the built-in Webhooks by Zapier app with a POST action, paste the endpoint URL that EmbedMyReviews gives you, and send the fields as JSON. There is no app to connect and no API key to paste. The URL carries its own token.

Which Zapier plan do I need?

A paid one. Zapier classes Webhooks by Zapier as a premium app, so the POST action is not available on the free tier. If that is a problem, Make's HTTP module posts to the same endpoint on Make's free plan, and Pabbly Connect does the same with its API by Pabbly action.

What fields must the Zap send?

An email address or a phone number is required, and both can be sent. Add a first name and last name, or a single full name that EmbedMyReviews splits for you. The keys in your JSON can be named anything; you map them in EmbedMyReviews from the captured test payload. You can also send an appointment or order date to anchor the timing.

Can I time the request around the appointment or order date?

Yes. Map a date field from the payload as the appointment or order date and the delay is measured from that moment rather than from when the Zap ran. Choose straight away, a set delay from 15 minutes up to 7 days, or the next morning at a chosen time. If a submission arrives without the date, EmbedMyReviews uses the arrival time instead. No Delay by Zapier step is needed.

Can I secure the endpoint?

The URL contains a random token, and you can regenerate it at any time, which stops the old URL immediately. For an extra check, turn on a signing secret and EmbedMyReviews verifies an HMAC-SHA256 signature on every request before accepting the payload.

Does the client see EmbedMyReviews branding?

No. The endpoint URL is built from the domain configured on your account, so it reads as youragency.com rather than EmbedMyReviews, and the review requests themselves go out through the client's own SMS and email providers.
