Supported Providers and Languages

The canonical reference for every provider you or your customers can connect — email, SMS, WhatsApp, AI, and rank data — plus the 27 platform languages.

This guide is the single source of truth for what can be connected to the platform and in which languages it runs. It lists every supported email, SMS, WhatsApp, and AI provider, who connects each one (you, or your customers), and the plan options that gate customer-side connections.

If a provider is not listed here, it is not supported. Use the related setup guides for step-by-step connection instructions once you know which provider you need.

Email providers (agency-side)

You add email providers at `Platform -> Messaging -> Email` -> `Add Provider`. Three providers are featured as cards: EmbedMyReviews (Free badge), SendGrid (Recommended), and Brevo (Popular). Clicking `Show more providers` reveals the rest: Mailgun, Postmark, Amazon SES, Emailit, and SMTP.

The EmbedMyReviews free service sends from the locked address [email protected] — the sender address cannot be changed. It is a shared service and requires an active commitment, so it is not available on an unpaid trial.

  • Full white-label (custom sending domains) is supported by every provider except the EmbedMyReviews free service and SMTP
  • Customer-owned sending domains are supported by SendGrid, Brevo, Mailgun, Postmark, Amazon SES, and Emailit — not SMTP and not the free service

Customers connecting their own email

Customers can connect their own email at `Manage -> Settings -> Email`, gated by the `Own Email Provider` plan option. The only supported options are Gmail and Outlook, both via SMTP with app passwords.

Consumer outlook.com, hotmail, live, and msn addresses are routed to Microsoft's consumer server automatically.

Worth knowing

This is a customer-side screen. Because you are in your agency account, you can reach it two ways: go to `Business -> Customers -> Manage Customers` and click `Open dashboard` on the customer — you go into their dashboard with nothing locked, even features their plan hides, and a bar at the top shows whose dashboard you are in (handy for done-for-you setups or granting access beyond a plan); or choose `View as customer` on the same page to see their dashboard exactly as they see it, with their plan's limits. If your sidebar shows the `Agency` / `Customer` switcher, the `Customer` tab plus the location switcher is a shortcut to the same place.

SMS providers (agency-side)

You add SMS providers at `Platform -> Messaging -> SMS` -> `Add SMS Provider`. You first name the provider and pick a target market, and the recommended providers for that market move up to cards.

The `Show other providers` list contains: Bird, TextGrid, Telnyx, gatewayapi, Clickatell, Amazon SNS, Vonage/Nexmo, Seven.io, httpSMS, and Kudosity.

Agency owners additionally see `EmbedMyReviews (Free)` — a free shared service with limited delivery rates due to carrier filtering, explicitly not recommended for production.

  • United States & Canada: SignalHouse is the primary recommendation — fastest 10DLC brand/campaign approval, registered inside the dashboard, and MMS support — with Twilio and TextGrid as alternatives
  • Europe: Brevo is the primary recommendation, with GatewayAPI and Bird as alternatives
  • Australia & New Zealand: Kudosity is the primary recommendation, with Twilio and Bird as alternatives
  • Guided full-page wizards exist for SignalHouse, Twilio, GatewayAPI, Brevo, and Kudosity; every other provider uses a standard credentials form
  • MMS is supported by exactly three providers: Twilio, TextGrid, and SignalHouse — MMS is also plan-gated by the `MMS Review Requests` option
  • Two-way handling (STOP/START/HELP compliance keywords) exists for Twilio and SignalHouse only; alphanumeric sender names can never receive replies

Customers connecting their own SMS

Customers can connect their own SMS provider at `Manage -> Settings -> SMS`, gated by the `Own SMS Provider` plan option. Twilio and Brevo are featured, alongside Telnyx, TextGrid, Vonage, Clickatell, Seven.io, Kudosity, GatewayAPI, and Bird — ten providers in total.

SignalHouse is agency-side only and is not available to customers.

WhatsApp

There is one WhatsApp integration only: WhatsApp Business via Meta's Cloud API, using your own number through Meta Embedded Signup. There is no Twilio WhatsApp path.

The settings page at `Platform -> Messaging -> WhatsApp` is visible to everyone, but connecting, templates, and the customer-side WhatsApp wizard are enabled only once Meta approves EmbedMyReviews' integration — until then the page shows `Awaiting Meta Approval`. Announcements land on the changelog when this changes.

US marketing sends are additionally paused platform-wide by default.

AI providers

Two AI providers are supported: OpenAI and OpenRouter. Both are connected by the agency at `Platform -> AI & Automation -> Artificial Intelligence`. There is no customer-side AI connection and no plan option for customer AI BYOK — the agency's default provider powers AI for all of its customers.

With OpenAI, the model list loads live from your OpenAI account and includes the gpt-4/4o/5 and o1/o3 families.

OpenRouter offers curated picks: Claude Haiku 4.5 (Recommended, ~$0.003/response), Claude Sonnet 4.5 (Premium), GPT-4o Mini (Budget), GPT-4o (Recommended), Gemini 2.5 Flash (Budget), and Llama 3.3 70B (Standard). Model choices are validated against OpenRouter's live catalog, so retired models cannot be saved.

  • Two features require OpenRouter specifically — OpenAI alone will not power them: Search AI, and AI question generation on feedback forms

Rank and search data providers

Local Search Grid and Sales Intelligence rely on two connections: DataForSEO (login and password — email verification on DataForSEO's side is required before scans work) and a Google Maps API key. The Maps key is a browser key used for map display and autocomplete only, with an optional separate server key.

Both are connected once at agency level inside the Local Search Grid / Sales Intelligence setup wizards, by the agency owner or a sales agent. Customers never connect these.

Who connects what

Email, SMS, and WhatsApp all resolve the sending provider through the same three-tier chain: first the customer's own connected provider (for SMS and WhatsApp, only when their plan enables the own-provider option), then the provider assigned to that organization, then the agency default.

AI has no chain — there is a single agency default that powers every customer.

Platform languages

The platform supports 27 languages: English, French, Danish, Dutch, German, Spanish, Norwegian, Serbian, Croatian, Greek, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Slovenian, Swedish, Finnish, Romanian, Hungarian, Portuguese (Brazil), Chinese (Traditional), Georgian, Estonian, Turkish, Japanese, Bulgarian, Czech, and Slovak.

The customer-facing side is fully translated. The agency-side dashboard is English-only.

  • Agencies can restrict which languages their customers can pick via `Platform -> White-Label -> Configuration` (language allow-list)
  • Help Centre content is translated by duplicating a collection into another language; the visitor language switcher only lists languages that have content, with an English fallback
  • Sales Intelligence reports render per-language, with branding text inheriting from your English defaults

Review sources at a glance

The review source picker contains 86 sources, including the built-in Testimonials source — first-party reviews collected under your brand, and the only source besides custom sources writable via the API.

45 sources can be used as feedback-form destinations; sources without a supported write path can still sync reviews.

  • Nine heavily bot-protected sources can see occasional sync delays: Yelp, TripAdvisor, Zillow, G2, Checkatrade, Hotels.com, WebMD, Thuisbezorgd, and Angies List
  • Replying from the platform and Auto Respond work for Google and Facebook only (API-connected via Grant Access)
  • Mobile deep links exist for Google and Facebook only
