Business Facts and Post Voice

Confirm the facts AI writes from, set the voice of every post and pick post languages, so each Google post sounds like the business and gets details right.

Feature overview: Google Business Profile Posts

Every AI-written post, from Write It for Me, Autopilot or an AI assistant, is grounded in the business facts someone confirmed. The voice settings decide how it sounds. Together they keep each post accurate and on-brand, location by location.

Facts live under Posts -> Settings, Business Facts tab. The voice lives on the Voice and Instructions tab, with your agency defaults in the playbook.

The fact sections

SectionWhat goes in it
ServicesWhat the business offers, with a price where there is one. Each post is about one service
ProofAwards, years in business, guarantees, memberships and licences
AvailabilityShort statements such as "Same-day appointments" or "Open on Sundays"
OffersDeals with dates. Each is confirmed on its own
EventsDated events with a start and an end
Areas ServedPlaces the business serves
Worth knowing

This is a customer-side screen. Because you are in your agency account, you can reach it two ways: go to Business -> Customers -> Manage Customers and click Open dashboard on the customer: you go into their dashboard with nothing locked, even features their plan hides, and a bar at the top shows whose dashboard you are in (handy for done-for-you setups or granting access beyond a plan); or choose View as customer on the same page to see their dashboard exactly as they see it, with their plan's limits. If your sidebar shows the Agency / Customer switcher, the Customer tab plus the location switcher is a shortcut to the same place.

Fill from the Profile, then confirm

  • Fill from the Profile fills in what the Google profile already says. Nothing is confirmed or saved until you check it
  • Click Confirm on each fact, or Confirm All in This Section. Offers, prices, awards and guarantees are confirmed one at a time
  • Autopilot writes about a service once it has two confirmed facts: the service and one more about it
  • Facts an AI assistant adds arrive unconfirmed, ready for a person to check
  • New posts use the saved facts. A scheduled post that uses a fact you change, remove or stop confirming is held for a check before it goes out

Search words people used

  • Search words people used to find this business lists the words from Google that led people to the listing
  • Pick the ones that describe a service or a place it serves. They become suggestions for facts
  • Words you do not pick are not kept, and Autopilot only uses words a person picked

Facts reported as wrong

  • When an approver uses Something Is Wrong on the approval page, the fact shows Reported as wrong with what they said
  • Fix the fact and confirm it, and it is used again
  • Dismiss Report closes the report without changing the fact. It waits for a confirm before posts use it again

The voice controls

  • Free text goes under Anything Else the Writer Should Know, in plain sentences such as "Mention free parking"
  • Changes are used for every post written from then on. Posts already written keep their text

Three layers of instructions

  • Your agency playbook (Business -> Publishing, Playbook tab) sets the defaults for every location
  • The location (Posts -> Settings, Voice and Instructions tab) wins over the playbook for that location
  • A single post takes its own topic in What Should the Post Be About?
  • Use the Default returns a location's value to the playbook. Customers see your values as Set by followed by your agency name

Post languages

  • Post Languages: up to 5 per location, from 28 languages, starting with the listing's own language
  • Posts are written in the first language. Make Primary changes it, and Save Languages keeps the list
  • A second language can sit Below the first language, or posts can alternate (Alternating posts)

Turn feedback into a standing rule

When a client asks for changes, the post's page shows you Make This a Standing Rule. It opens Voice and Instructions for that location, so the comment becomes a lasting instruction and every future post follows it.
