QR codes and NFC tags make review collection easier in the real world. Instead of asking customers to search for the business later, you give them a direct path at the point of experience.
The cleanest setup is usually a QR code or NFC tag that points to a feedback form rather than to a raw review URL.
Create a QR code
Go to `Grow -> Review Tools -> QR Codes`, click `Create QR Code`, and choose whether the destination should be a feedback form or a custom URL.
- Add a clear name so printed assets stay organised
- Use the generated path or randomise a new one
- Download the final QR code as PNG
- Optionally upload a logo into the centre of the code
Track what happens after the scan
- See total scans and recent scan trends
- Review funnel progression from scans to feedback to platform clicks
- Understand which review sites people choose after scanning
- Review rating breakdowns where applicable
Use NFC tags when tapping is easier than scanning
NFC tags work in a similar way, but the customer taps their phone instead of opening the camera. This is useful for reception desks, checkout counters, packaging inserts, and physical leave-behinds.
A few practical rules
- Print at least 2cm by 2cm for reliable scanning
- Test every print proof before ordering in volume
- Keep the destination editable so the same printed QR code can keep working even if the campaign changes
